The Hispanic population in the Twin Cites is now 167,000, many of them living near to us. To reach out to them, St. Michael’s partners with Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Richfield and Lutheran Church of the Redemption in Bloomington.

The mission and purpose of Friends Serving Uganda is to reach those in need in Uganda by

  • helping the poor and disadvantages with basic survival needs
  • enabling God’s messengers through training and infrastructure support
  • improving community quality of life through health, nutrition and education programs
  • supporting local economic development initiatives to provide self sufficiency.

“Friends Serving Uganda” (FSU) is a mission group actively involved in southeastern Uganda since the Fall of 2006. We partner with two non-profit groups, one in the United States named “With God’s Little Ones” (WGLO) and another in Uganda named “Lutheran Church Mission Uganda” (LCMU). Both WGLO and LCMU are very experienced mission organizations and have been involved specifically in mission work in Uganda for a number of years. WGLO assist’s groups like ours to connect directly with villages in Uganda with local help from LCMU.
